Daniel P. Todes has been awarded the History of Science Society’s 2015 Pfizer prize for Ivan Pavlov: A Russian Life in Science (Oxford: Oxford University Press, 2015).

This prestigious prize was established in 1958 and has been awarded annually in recognition of an outstanding book in the history of science in any field.

On 24 September 2015, Professor Todes delivered a public lecture at the European University on Ivan Pavlov, a subject that he studied for 25 years.
