On April 18th, EUSP Department of Anthropology graduate Maria Pirogovskaia defended her dissertation “Ol’faktornyi kod i vospitanie chuvstvitel’nosti v russkoi gorodskoi kul’ture 1860-1910-x godov [The Olfactory Code and the Cultivation of Sensibility in Russian Urban Culture in the 1860s-1910s]” in the Dissertation Council of the Peter the Great Museum of Anthropology and Ethnography of the Russian Academy of Sciences “Kunstkamera.”

The work was fulfilled in the Department of Ethnography of Eastern Slavs and the Peoples of European Russia at the Peter the Great Museum of Anthropology and Ethnography (Kunstkamera) RAS under the guidance of EUSP professor, Doctor of  Sciences in History, and Senior Fellow of the Peter the Great Museum of Anthropology and Ethnography, Russian Academy of Sciences (Kunstkamera), Albert Baiburin.
