Letter of Support
We, the graduates of the Moscow School of Social and Economic Sciences (Shaninka), express our support for employees and students of the European University at St. Petersburg.
European University is one of the best educational institutions in Russia. Leading Russian and foreign experts work at the EUSP. It is one of the few places in Russia that has created the conditions to engage in serious academic research. EUSP alumni have been successful in the fields of culture, education, business and science. Shaninka and European University have always been friendly schools. Faculty, alumni and students of the EUSP are our colleagues and friends.
EUSP professors have been delivering lectures at MSSES for many years, while EUSP and MSSES students regularly visit each other at conferences, seminars and lectures. It is hard to imagine studying at Shaninka without constant dialogue with colleagues from EUSP. We very much hope our dialogue will not be interrupted and that the current and future students of MSSES will be able to cooperate with European University students just as we did.
Therefore, we, the graduates of the Moscow School of Social and Economic Sciences, protest against the cancellation of the EUSP license and support employees and students in their struggle for the right to exist.
