International programs

Studying at European University has been an enormous gift and an invaluable experience for me. Through the university, I was given the chance to study with leading academics in the fields of art history and culture at MARCA, an opportunity I would not have had anywhere else. With direct access to world class museums like the Hermitage and the Russian Museum, MARCA offered me an up close and personal view of Russian history culture. In my lifelong study of the arts, I had never had this kind of access before to great museums and masterworks so integrated with my coursework.

MARCA is a very flexible program, composed of students from all cultural backgrounds. This unique blend allows for a very open selection of research themes in relation to the master's thesis. This openness is what attracted me to the program, aside from being centered on Russian art, any topic within the cultural spectrum is encouraged to be pursued by the students. Thanks to this unique program, I was finally able to focus on my personal passion for cinema and make it a professional, academic reality. Without European University, my dream to study in Europe, and especially in an area which interests me so much, was able to become a reality. The small size of the school creates a tight-knit environment, making the students feel at home within this massively impressive foreign city. I highly recommend the MARCA program to any students looking to expand their horizons, whether in Russian-related fields of study or simply culturally based.
