International programs

They say all roads lead to Rome. But the more intriguing ones lead to the Third Rome. I ventured to Russia from Paris to embark on a new chapter, and little did I know how this decision would change my life. When I arrived at EUSP, I realized my worldview was about to transform dramatically. I had studied Russian history in college in America, but the opportunity to explore tenets of modern Russian politics while living in Russia is no comparison.

The EUSP offers a wealth of subjects taught by some of the most qualified and knowledgeable experts I have come across in my studies. With critical courses examining subjectivity in the making of Russian national identity, the role of the resource curse in post-Soviet energy geopolitics, and Russian history through the lens of philosophical developments, the EUSP has given me the intellectual framework to pursue competitive positions in the field of international relations. And, there is nothing better to reinforce educational material than walking outside to experience the uniqueness of Russia itself as a facet of your quotidian life.

The EUSP is not just a wonderful pursuit for anyone interested in Russian studies; it is a quest for the curious who have a taste for expanding their horizons in a unique and extraordinary way.
