The evening began with the annual address by the Rector of the University, Oleg Kharkhordin and the deans of the faculties. Among the guests in attendance at the ceremony were members of the Board of Trustees, friends, and partners of the European University. Jennes de Mol, Consul-General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in St Petersburg and Terrence Flynn, Deputy Principal Officer of the Consulate General of the United States addressed the audience with the welcoming speech. At the end of the ceremony the graduates were awarded Master’s degrees. The evening, as per tradition, concluded with refreshments and picture-taking.
